Pour la rentrée, on a décidé de dépoussiérer une review perdue parmi tant d’autre.
Sorti le 13 mai dernier sur le label Tiefenrausch qui signifie « bas niveau sonore ». Le quatrième EP de la série est signé par le jeune italien Hydergine.
Il présente sur ce label un EP fortement convaincant du nom de Stingray. Le voyage commence donc sur le track Reminescence, un univers posé, mouvementé par un léger rythme où de longues chords viennent se rattacher à cette atmosphère dansante mais discrète. Ce track nous porte dans un univers froid très bien mesuré par l’artiste. L’EP s’enchaine, laissant place à un kick plus percutant, on commence à battre du pied. La basseline discrète rythme le tout, les secondes passent et la rythmique augmente.
Space scan nous entraine dans un voyage temporel où on allie de profondes chords et un groove souple. Pour conclure cet EP Solstice d’hiver, qui nous laisse terminer ce profond voyage sur une atmosphère plus froide rythmée par des chords aux sonorités « électriques ».
Un EP donc aux sonorités hivernales, format vinyle only qui viendra compléter l’univers deep de Tiefescenraush.

September is here again and we decided to look in Radiant Child’s old cases.
Released on May 13th on the label Tiefenrausch, « Stingray » is the new ep from the Italian producer Hydergine.
Tiefenrausch means, « low sound level » and was created in 2012. This German label focuses on the dub techno scene. Hydergine presents on this label a very convincing EP. The journey begins with the track Reminescence, that reveals to us a composed universe: a light rhythm of long dub chords creates a discreet atmosphere, And after that, some long chords relate themselves to this dancing and discreet atmosphere and this track carries us in a cold universe very well measured by the artist. The track « Space scan » starts with really nice chords & when arrives the hard-hitting kick, we start stamping our feet along with the music. The discreet bass line gives rhythm to the whole, the rhythmic increases and take us in a temporal journey with a nice groove.
In order to finalize our journey « Winter solstice », leaves us with a colder atmosphere given by some electric chords. We just have to thank Hydergine for this lengthy and peaceful journey.
This EP is characterized by it’s wintry tones and completes the deep universe of Tiefescenraush.
